Direct bookings use a firm cancellation structure so guests and hosts have clear expectations before payment is collected.
Important: Your written booking confirmation controls if it lists different property-specific, holiday, monthly-stay, or promotional terms. This page is the standard JRNP direct-booking policy.
Refunds may exclude payment-processing fees, already-incurred costs, and non-refundable add-ons. Taxes and fees are handled as required by law and by the written booking confirmation. Cleaning fees may be refunded when the stay is canceled before check-in and cleaning has not been performed or scheduled as a non-refundable cost.
Most approved direct bookings require a 50% deposit to hold the dates, with the remaining balance due 30 days before check-in. If check-in is less than 30 days away, the full amount may be due when the booking is approved.
Date changes are subject to availability, owner approval, and any rate difference for the new dates. Moving dates does not reset the cancellation window unless JRNP confirms that in writing.
Stays of 28 nights or longer may require property-specific extended-stay terms. Unless your written confirmation says otherwise, guests are responsible for nights already stayed plus up to the next 30 nights after cancellation notice.
Weather, emergencies, maintenance events, local restrictions, holiday reservations, and platform-to-direct transitions may have property-specific terms provided before confirmation. Contact the host team before payment if you need a policy exception reviewed.
